About me
Diego Calvi Photographer
I was born in Milan (Italy).
I studied at the School of Art and at the Milan Polytechnic (Faculty of Architecture).
In 2000 I moved to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a magical place that I fell in love with and where I currently reside.
Since childhood I have been fond of photography and images.
Likewise, and in parallel, travel is present in my life. A passion that is reflected in my hundreds of photographs of places and people with whom I crossed paths. In 2015 I spent a year travelling around the world.
My professional development in photography began in 2000 after my move to the Canary Islands, working for various advertising agencies and making photographic books, as well as reports of all kinds.
As Director of Photography, Camera Operator and Film Director I started a few years ago just for fun, but then I started directing and editing my own Shorts and Audio-visuals.
