I am Diego Calvi, a photographer based in the charming city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Originally born in Milan, Italy, I have always been captivated by the power of photography and its ability to tell stories through images.

My creative journey started early when I was studying at the School of Art and then I pursued my passion for architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. These experiences shaped my artistic vision and instilled in me an eye for composition, aesthetics, and capturing the essence of subjects.

In the year 2000 I made the bold decision to move to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a place that instantly stole my heart. This vibrant and diverse place has become my home and a constant source of inspiration for my work.

Photography has always been intertwined with my love of travel and exploration. Since my early years, I have embarked on numerous journeys, immersing myself in different cultures and documenting my encounters through the lens of my camera. In 2015, I embarked on a year-long adventure around the world, further fueling my passion for visual storytelling.

Over the years, my professional growth in the field of photography has been remarkable. When I settled in the Canary Islands, I had the privilege of collaborating with several advertising agencies, creating visually impressive campaigns that capture the essence of the brands and captivate the public. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to create captivating photo books and various reports, covering a wide range of topics.

From architectural wonders to compelling landscapes, from intimate portraits to dynamic event coverage, I am committed to translating the beauty and essence of each moment into compelling visual narratives.
